How do we handle your data?

Introduction

When you visit our website or use other services, information about you is collected, which is used to, among other things, customize and improve our content on the site. If you do not want information to be collected, delete your cookies and refrain from further use of the website. Below we have elaborated on what information is collected on the various services, their purpose and who has access to it.

We process personal data and have therefore adopted this privacy policy that tells you how we process your data. Sydtrafik is the data controller, and we ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with the law.

  • The site uses cookies, a small text file that is stored on your computer or mobile, to recognize your computer or mobile on recurring visits. There is no personal information stored in our cookies and it cannot contain viruses.

    Cookies are used to keep statistics on the number of users as well as information, geography and interests of our users to customize content accordingly. And thereby create a better experience for users.

    Sydtrafik uses 3rd party cookies (Google Analytics) to collect statistics about users' visits and navigation on the site. This data is recorded for statistical reasons - you as a single user remain anonymous.

  • Generally

    When we ask you to make your personal data available to us, we inform you of what data we process about you and for what purpose. You will receive information about this at the time of collection of your personal data.

    Purpose

    The information is used to identify you as a user and record your purchases and payments, as well as to provide the services you have requested, such as buying a ticket or sending a newsletter.
    We typically collect and process the following types of information: a unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographic location, and which pages you click on (interests).

    We only process necessary personal data

    To the extent that you give your consent and enter the information yourself, e.g., name, phone number, e-mail, address and payment information are also processed. This will typically be in connection with creating a user account, login or when purchasing.

    We delete your personal data when it is no longer necessary.

    The information is stored for the time allowed by law and we delete it when it is no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storage. Therefore, it is not possible to specify a general timeframe for when information is deleted.

  • For example, the data we use include:

    Sydtrafik.dk:
    • Personal information: information you enter yourself in connection with a purchase, travel guarantee and refund, creation of a profile or by contacting Sydtrafik. The information includes e.g., name, address, date of birth, email, phone number, customer type, picture, Social Security number and ID such as debit card or driver's license.
    • Information about purchases and orders: the information applies, for example, to the purchase of cards. In addition, booking flextur and disabled driving. Your purchase will be registered if you have created a profile. Sydtrafik does not store payment card information. The payment is made through an external vendor. When you enter your payment card information, it goes directly to those responsible for the payment system.
    • Information about using the website: information about which pages you visit on the website is collected in logs along with your IP address.
    • Competitions on the website: in competitions on Sydtrafik.dk and on Facebook, we collect the information you enter. Information is used to draw winners and submit prizes.
    Our Sydtrafik:
    • Personal information: information you enter yourself in connection with the creation of a profile or by contacting Sydtrafik. The information includes e.g., name, e-mail, phone number, picture, and which bus company you are employed at. We use your data to register your user so that we can target e.g., news and content and to respond to your inquiries.
    • Inactive profiles: We delete your profile if you have not used it for a year. You will receive an SMS or e-mail before it is deleted. You can, of course, always contact us yourself and ask to have your profile deleted.
    Flextrafik:
    • Personal information: information you provide when you order. This is your Social Security number, which we need in order to settle the municipality's and the region's share of your driving. In addition, Sydtrafik is obliged to ensure a clear identification of the persons transported via Flextrafik. This applies to all flextrafik driving schemes except for Flexture, which is booked by telephone via Sydtrafiks call centre.
    • Information about aids: we must be able to use your possible aids needs in order to plan and carry out your driving correctly. It is necessary for drivers/hauliers to receive information about any aids that must be included while driving in order to carry out the driving correctly. Aids are also registered in Flextrafik's ordering and planning system.
    • The Social Security number, name, address and information on aids are recorded in Flextrafik's ordering and planning system. The system is operated by FlexDanmark, which is an IT company founded by Nordjyllands Trafikselskab, Midttrafik, FynBus, Movia, Sydtrafik and Region Midtjylland. The CPR number and information about aids are thus given to FlexDanmark in order to be able to order and plan runs. FlexDanmark is located on Hjulmagervej 55, 9000 Aalborg.
    • Sydtrafik cooperates with the other transport companies in the execution of the service. We give the Social Security number and information on aids to another transport company if the driving is to be carried out in another region. The Social Security number and information on aids are provided to other transport companies or FlexDanmark when Sydtrafik gets help answering telephones.We do not provide the Social Security number to the drivers or hauliers who drive flextrafik.
    • We only provide a telephone number to the driver or haulier if the citizen has given his or her consent in connection with the booking of the trip or the visitation for the driving.
    Facebook:
    • Personal information: Sydtrafik does not process cases on Facebook.
      In connection with e.g., customer inquiries, travel guarantee and forgotten cases, we refer instead to the respective entry forms under Contact and Service at sydtrafik.dk.
    • In connection with competitions, Sydtrafik uses the winner's name and address to submit prizes.
    • Personal data provided by users on Facebook is collected and used commercially by Facebook, including consumption patterns being identified and utilized for targeted promotions.
  • Introduction

    When you use the Sydtrafik Mobile Ticket app, information about you, your tickets and travel patterns is collected.

    Data is collected only when you create an account for in-app ticket purchases. If you do not want information to be collected, do not register as a user.

    It is possible to browse Sydtrafik Mobile Ticket app without providing personal information. It is not possible to make purchases without providing personal information.

    We use the information to provide you with the desired ticketing service, as well as for statistical purposes. We use and analyse the information so that we can identify trends and usage patterns so that we can improve our services.

    We use the following third parties:

    • Kofoed & Co: Sydtrafik Mobile ticket app developers (kofco.dk)
    • Itinerary: Used for travel listings and price calculation (rejseplanen.dk)
    • MobilePay: In-app payment solution (mobilepay.dk)
    • Bambora (Epay): Payment solution in app (epay.dk)
    • Mapbox: Map view on commuter cards (upcoming feature) (mapbox.com)
    • Fabric: Used for error reporting, number of users, and use of apps (fabric.io)
    • Firebase: For sending push notifications (firebase.google.com)
    • Raygun: Error monitoring between backend and apps (raygun.com)
  • We protect your personal data and have internal rules on information security

    We have adopted internal rules on information security, which contain instructions and measures that protect your personal data from being destroyed, lost or altered, from unauthorized disclosure, and from unauthorized access or knowledge of it.

  • We do not disclose your personal data without your consent

    Data about your use of the website and Sydtrafik Mobile ticket app is not disclosed to third parties. However, we use a few third parties for the storage and processing of data. These only process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

    Disclosure of personal data such as name and e-mail etc. will only take place if you consent to it. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with adequate protection.

    We do not obtain your consent if we are legally obliged to disclose your personal data, e.g., as part of reporting to an authority.

  • You have the right to access your personal data.

    You have the right to know what personal data we process about you. You can also object to the use of information at any time. You can also revoke your consent for information about you to be processed.

    You have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected or deleted
    If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted.

    You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data.

    When you contact us with a request to have your personal data corrected or deleted, we examine whether the conditions are met and, if so, make changes or deletions as soon as possible.
