Face masks required in buses and Flextrafik
From Monday 29 November it is a requirement to wear face masks or visors in public transport in Denmark.
This applies to all passengers aged 12 and over, but some adults may be exempt from the mask or visor requirement for health reasons. The requirement also applies to stays at bus and train stations.
It is the passengers' own responsibility to bring face masks or visors when travelling by bus or Flextrafik, and you may be rejected or expelled from the bus if not used.
NOTE! Face masks or visors do not replace the previous recommendations from authorities and Sydtrafik:
- Never leave home if you are ill and have symptoms such as cough, sore throat, fever and the like.
- Show consideration and keep your distance from others
- Wash or sanitize hands before and after the ride in public transport
- Always follow the driver's instructions
